What it is

What Google Ads management covers

Google Ads is Google's advertising platform. Managing it means running your campaigns week after week, as one part of your marketing. That covers keywords, ads, bids, budgets, tracking and reporting. Google shows the ads. A manager decides which searches deserve your money and which ones waste it.

Why did Google Ads charge me $500?Google bills when your costs reach a payment threshold, and on the first of the month. The threshold often climbs in steps, such as $50, $200, $350 and then $500.How Google Ads billing works
  1. 01

    Campaign types we run

Search campaigns bring traffic from people typing a service and a place. Local Services Ads show at the top for many trades, and you pay per lead. Performance Max and YouTube campaigns reach people across Google once tracking proves what a lead is worth. Shopping campaigns suit a business that sells a product online.

  2. 02

    How we access your account

Agencies use a Google Ads manager account to view and manage multiple accounts from one sign-in. We send a link request from ours, and you approve it. The link gives access to client accounts and never moves ownership. Any admin on your account can end it at any time.

  3. 03

    Location targeting for local businesses

Google's default location targeting also reaches people who only show interest in your area. For most local businesses we change that setting so ads reach only people in or regularly in your locations.

  4. 04

    What Google rewards

Ad Rank weighs your bid, the quality of the ad and page, and the search itself. Ads that match the search often win better spots for less. A specific landing page, built for that one service, helps improve that quality.

What's included

Inside a managed Google Ads account

Six jobs we do in your account, for every service or product you advertise.

Keyword and match type plan

Phrase and exact match on buying searches first. Broad match only once bidding has real conversions.

Negative keyword lists

Shared lists used across campaigns for jobs, DIY and free searches, updated from the search terms report weekly.

Ads and assets

Responsive search ads with up to 15 headlines to test, plus sitelinks, calls and location assets.

Call and form conversions

We track calls from ads and your site, forms and bookings, each counted once per click.

Bidding and budgets

Smart Bidding strategies once tracking holds. Budget moves toward campaigns that bring the cheapest leads.

Local Services Ads

Pay-per-lead listings above the search ads, with fast replies so you rank higher.

Ownership

Your Google Ads account belongs to you, not your agency.

We work through a manager link that you approve, never through shared logins to your accounts. If you leave, your admin removes it in one click. Every campaign keeps running, and every report stays.

Reporting

Google Ads reporting and optimization

Reporting shows what your advertising budget bought. Optimization is the weekly work of using that data, and the right strategies, to get better results without raising your ad spend.

What does Keyword Planner do?It is a research tool inside Google Ads, used before launch. It shows monthly search estimates, likely costs and keyword ideas for any service or product. How to choose PPC keywords
  1. 01

    Metrics in every report

Each report shows the metrics that matter for local leads. Clicks, cost per click, conversions, conversion rate and price per lead sit side by side for each campaign. Clicks show traffic, while calls and forms show leads. We skip vanity metrics unless they explain a change.

  2. 02

    The search terms report

This Google tool lists the real searches that triggered your ads. We read it every week, add negative keywords and find new keyword opportunities inside it. No other tool in the account cuts more waste.

  3. 03

    Optimization score is a guide

Google gives accounts an optimization score from 0 to 100%. You can reach 100% by applying or dismissing every recommendation, so a fully optimized score does not mean more leads. We apply the ones that improve results for your goals.

  4. 04

Bid strategies that match the data

Target CPA, Target ROAS, Maximize conversions and Maximize conversion value are the Smart Bidding strategies. Each one requires conversion tracking. New lead accounts often start on Maximize conversions, then move to a target price per lead.

  5. 05

    Audience segments

Audience segments, such as past site visitors, can narrow or observe who sees your Search campaigns. We often exclude current customers, so the budget works better on new ones. Customer lists stay in your accounts, never ours.

By business type

Google Ads campaigns by type of business

The right mix depends on how your customers buy and what the rest of your marketing does.

01

Emergency services

Plumbers, locksmiths and towing. Search and Local Services Ads around the clock, with calls answered live.

02

Planned home projects

Roofing, remodeling and solar. Search for quotes, plus remarketing while owners compare options.

03

Professional services

Law and accounting firms. Tight keyword lists and consultation forms, with brand searches split out.

Pricing

Google Ads management pricing

A flat fee for the work, never a share of your marketing budget. Ad spend goes from your card to Google.

Google Ads management questions

Cost

How much does Google Ads management cost?

Management runs $1,000 monthly, and that fee stays flat as your budget grows. Google charges your ad spend to your own card, so you see every invoice. We suggest a starting budget after we check click prices in your area.Read the full answer →
Setup

How do I create a Google Ads account?

Sign in at ads.google.com with a Google account your business controls, then add your billing details. If you hire us, we send a link request from our manager account. You approve it, and the account stays in your name.
Control

Can I remove my agency from my Google Ads account?

Yes. Any admin on your account can end the link to a manager account at any time from the access settings. Linked accounts keep their campaigns, data and billing, and you can manage them yourself.
Speed

How long before Google Ads brings leads?

Getting the first calls often takes only days after launch. Campaigns usually settle in 2 to 6 weeks, as we block wasted searches and Smart Bidding learns from your real leads. Accounts with few leads take longer.Read the full answer →
Leads

Why am I getting clicks but no conversions in Google Ads?

Usually one of three things. Tracking misses calls or forms, the ads match the wrong searches, or the landing page doesn't answer the search. We check tracking first, then the search terms, then the page.Read the full answer →
Pages

Should I send Google Ads traffic to my homepage?

Rarely. A page about the one service in the ad usually turns more traffic into calls than a homepage that lists everything. We suggest an optimized landing page per ad group when the budget allows it.Read the full answer →
