Make the profile visit-ready
Show your address, hours, phone and a map link on every profile. Keep holiday hours current. Pin a post with directions or parking tips if your place is hard to find.
Measure foot traffic from social
Foot traffic is hard to track directly. Use a code or phrase that only appears on social, like "mention Instagram for a free drink." Ask new customers how they heard of you. Track direction and call taps in each platform's insights.
Good example. A coffee shop posts its weekly special every Monday and runs a small ad within two miles. Staff count "saw it on Instagram" mentions.
Bad example. A coffee shop posts generic coffee quotes with no location, hours or offer. Nobody nearby connects the posts to the shop.
